My game is running slowly.

If you notice your game is running slowly, here’s a few suggestions to help improve performance: 

1. Restart the game by force closing it and reloading. 
2. Check for updates in the App Store/Google Play Store
3. Ensure you have enough free space on your device. We recommend having 10% or more of free space to ensure optimal performance settings. 
4. Consider closing background apps. Depending on the OS and Platform, your device might automatically optimize performance by suspending background apps resource usage to prioritize your currently active game/app. Just in case, closing out high demand applications like other games can help free up valuable resources for Squishmallows Match to use. 
5. (Android) Clear Cache by going to Settings > Apps > Squishmallows Match > Storage > Clear Cache.
6. Check for a strong internet connection.
7. Check another device to see if the performance issues persist or not. 

Older devices may struggle to perform compared to devices released in the last 2-3 years. As we add new features and updates to the game, the requirements gradually increase. So we recommend playing on the most recent and high end device you have to ensure optimal performance.
