My game is crashing/freezing!

If you’re encountering frequent crashing or freezing, please try the troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart your device. Sometimes, restarting your device can help free up memory and results in more resources being available for the game to perform better. 
  2. Check for Updates in the App Store or Google Play Store. 
  3. (Android Only): Clear the cache of the game by going to Settings -> Apps ->  Squishmallows Match -> Storage -> Clear Cache. 
  4. Ensure you have enough free storage space on your device. We recommend ensuring you have upwards of 10% available storage for optimal performance. 
  5. Ensure you have a strong internet connection.
  6. Check another device to see if the issue persists. 

Older devices may struggle to perform compared to devices released in the last 2-3 years. As we add new features and updates to the game, the requirements gradually increase which on . So we recommend playing on the most recent and high end device you have to ensure optimal performance.
