What are Boosters and Power Ups?

Boosters and Power-Ups are special items used to aid you in completing a level. 

Boosters are either used at the beginning of a level, or are created when matching pieces in certain combinations to create a booster. You can also combine boosters to make an even more powerful boost. Boosters are: 

• Rocket: Clears all match pieces in a row. They are aligned either vertically or horizontally.
• Propeller: Will clear a random match piece on the board. It will often target goal related pieces for the level. 
• Bomb: Explodes and clears match pieces within the area of the explosion.
• Disco Ball: When swapped with a match piece it will clear the board of all pieces matching that colour. Swapping it with another booster will replicate that booster all over the board. Try it out with a Bomb and watch the board clear up fast!

Power-Ups are unique items that can only be used during a level to help you out. They include: 

• Hammer: Will destroy a single target piece or progress a more difficult to clear piece by one. For instance, when used on a donut box, it will act as if one match was made beside the box. 
• Waterblaster: Will clear the row of the targeted piece on the board. 
• Bow and Arrow: Will clear the column of the targeted piece on the board. 
• Blender: Will shuffle the pieces randomly around the board to help you get a better setup to beat the level. 

Using Boosters and Power-Ups is a great way to progress through harder levels. Use them wisely as they aren’t unlimited. They’re best used when you’re in a bind!
